Richard Ayoade is an acclaimed actor and film director. He is well known for playing awkward geeks, most famously as Maurice Moss from the Channel 4 comedy The IT Crowd. His latest venture is a book, Ayoade on Ayoade: A Cinematic Odyssey, in which two fictional versions of himself meet for a series of interviews.
In a real-life conversation with the BBC's Technology reporter Dougal Shaw, about the artificial nature of interviews, we happened to notice that Richard was holding one of our colourful PANTONE mugs.
These iconic PANTONE mugs are a perennial favourite of the design industry and colourful characters like Richard.
Colour-geeks around the world unite and obsess about this tonal numbering system and the subtle nuances from one colour to the next. Glossy tone is wrapped around a bone china mug, especially chosen for its whiteness & lightness over other ceramics - allowing the colour to really ‘pop'. A design classic and an easy way to add a dash of style to your kitchen or office.
Colour is simply never out of fashion and with so many top tones to choose, your favourite colour is only a click away.
